Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Trade Clok. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Trade Clok governing your access to and use of the platform.
By accessing or using the Trade Clok platform (available at tradeclok.com and timeclok.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Trade Clok. These terms apply to all users, including administrators, employees, and visitors.
Trade Clok is a GPS-based time tracking and workforce management platform designed for field-based businesses in the trades industry. Features include GPS clock-in/out, job site tracking, equipment hour logging, payroll export, employee reminders, photo uploads, and an administrative dashboard. Trade Clok is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscription.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of yourself or your company to use Trade Clok.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. Trade Clok is not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate account information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Upon registration, you will select a unique company URL slug (e.g., timeclok.app/your-company). This slug is permanent once set and cannot be transferred to another party.
Trade Clok offers a free Owner plan for solo contractors and owner-operators. The Teams plan is billed at $14.00 per seat per month (minimum 5 seats, $70.00/mo to start). There is no setup fee and no long-term contracts.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you must provide payment information to continue using Trade Clok.
Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of your subscription start date. Payments are processed through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize Trade Clok to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Your monthly bill is calculated based on the number of active seats in your account at $14.00 per seat per month. Adding or removing seats adjusts your next billing cycle accordingly.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of the charge.
We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' advance notice via email. Continued use of Trade Clok after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Upon cancellation, your account is archived for 90 days. During this period, you may reactivate your account and recover your data. After 90 days, all data associated with your account is permanently deleted. You are encouraged to export your data before cancelling.
To permanently delete your account and all associated data immediately, type 'DELETE' in the account deletion confirmation field within settings, or contact us at [email protected].
Trade Clok is licensed for lawful business use to track time and manage field workforces. You may use Trade Clok only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
You may not use Trade Clok to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) collect or store personal data about individuals without their knowledge or consent; (c) harass, threaten, or harm any person; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to Trade Clok's systems or another user's account; (e) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform; (f) use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair Trade Clok's infrastructure.
As an administrator, you are solely responsible for ensuring that your employees are informed of and have consented to the collection of their location and time data as required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
Trade Clok and all content, features, and functionality of the platform — including but not limited to the Trade Clok name, logo, mascot, software, design, and text — are owned by Trade Clok and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of all data you input into Trade Clok, including time records, job data, employee information, and photos. You grant Trade Clok a limited license to use this data solely to provide the service to you.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Trade Clok, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
Trade Clok is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Trade Clok. Scheduled maintenance, outages, or technical issues may result in temporary unavailability.
GPS location data is subject to the accuracy limitations of the user's device and network. Trade Clok does not guarantee the precision of GPS clock-in locations.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Trade Clok shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform. Trade Clok's total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Trade Clok in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Trade Clok and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of Trade Clok, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of Trade Clok after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
